You’ve done the research, you’ve written a business plan, you’ve even rented space and purchased your supplies. You open the doors and the customers pour in. By tonight, you’ll be wheeling a barrow full of cash to the bank.
It’s not that easy, is it? Even with the best laid plans, expect more work than you could expect, and several turns in the road that you didn’t anticipate. When those turns come up, it’s nice to have a sounding board. Someone to help you focus on your goals and make business decisions based on the desired outcome. Someone who is not emotionally tied up in the birth and rearing of your flower shop.
I provide that service. My consulting business is comprised of both clients who have established businesses and are working towards their next level goal, and clients who are just getting their business to bud up and bloom.
I am passionate about working with clients to find out what is important to them and their business, and helping them find and stay on a track to get them there. This means I will ask easy questions and hard questions. As I learn about you and your business, so will you. I am not a CPA or a Lawyer, and will sometimes refer you to a professional in those fields, but for the most part, if I don’t know the answer to your question, I can help you find it. The Floral Industry is great that way. Information is out there for the asking, often it’s just a matter of matching up the right people.
My consulting services are available on an hourly basis and can be provided over the telephone or even by email. Ideally, I would spend time in your shop as well if we decided together that it was a viable option.
